President's Welcome

Boris Martinac provided an update from the council meeting of the International Society of Mechanobiology. The next ISMB meetings will be held in Taiwan (2024) and Glasgow (2026).

Treasurer's Report

Sara Baratchi reported:

The amount remaining from ISMB 2022 will be transferred to the AuSMB account.

Secretary's Report

Kate Poole provided an update on the list of current council members and noted the lack of a representative from South Australia. Sarah Boyle was selected as the SA representative.

Kate Poole presented the mission statement and the EDI statement of the AuSMB to ensure principles for a diverse and inclusive society.

Technical Officer's Report

Daryan Kempe provided an update on the website, including how it can be used to promote research and recent publications of members. A password-protected site for AuSMB members is being prepared, including pages for available positions and links to members' webpages.

Society Award

Kate Poole presented the Society Award to Kathryn Stok for her work in establishing the Mechanobiology FoR code.
